What We Do

Tomsar Engineering Ltd is an electronics design consultancy based in West Yorkshire, working with commercial and industrial clients across the UK. We design the electronics and firmware behind real products — taking them from initial concept through to manufacture.

Our work spans embedded systems and both low-power and high-power electronic design. At the low-power end, that means battery-operated and energy-conscious products where efficiency and wireless connectivity determine success. At the high-power end, it means demanding applications such as battery-powered electrofusion welders, where thermal management, safety, and EMC engineering are critical. Across that range, we work fluently with the ESP32, STM32, and PIC microcontroller families.

Alongside embedded design, we provide professional PCB design and layout in Altium 365, covering RF, power, and mixed-signal boards — always built to be manufactured, with clean documentation a contract manufacturer can use without coming back with questions.

We support the full development path: feasibility and architecture, hardware and firmware design, prototyping, testing, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development, and environmental and EMC testing for compliance.
